The problem with cars is, unless you are in a controlled environment windows up then the moment your roof comes down everything changes. So chasing the perfect sound is going to become very expensive very quickly. Expectations have to be managed in line with your budget.

Ah that’s why a dsp with multiple sound stages is your best friend…roof up, roof down windows up, roof down windows down, rough tarmac..smooth tarmac..etc etc ..you can tailor it for each situation ..simples..

As a by the by..when I was testing an android head unit I tried Bluetooth to apple aac, aux, android usb digital to Dac into a reference system in the house using some studio monitor speakers and I frankly couldn’t really tell any differences..maybe I’m just getting old..

On a serious note. Spotify was good. Apple on full lossless is punchy and vibrant. Current settings attached.
