Music only for the driver?

Hi all.
I have a Z4 3.0 with the prof nav with dsp.
This weekend a company installed a Parrot MKI9100.
Iphone and Nokia works great on it, but the radio isn't working as it did before.
Most of the time I only get music at the driver side (which is on the left-side in my case).
Sometimes the subwoofers kicks in, but for only a few seconds.
Very rarely others speakers will join for a split second, or it is silent for a moment.

It looks like a wire is not always connected.
But before i set fire at the parrot-shop, could it be something else?

I think that the Z4 has it's original software. At least the Navigation-dvd is from 2003.
The girl in the dashboard is yelling directions in perfect German, but (as with most woman) I cannot shut her up.
She says louder and softer in the same volume.
Also the 6-CD exchanger is not working. It can change through the several CD's, but I have to sing myself, because it plays no sound.
Those problems, also with the airbag light, I had already before the Parrot was installed.

That's why I think the most irritating problem (only sound at the driver-site) is maybe not due to the Parrot or it's installation.
Could it be that the Z4 cannot handle this device, and the software should be updated?

I also should mention that I have in the glove-department 2 sets of cables. One of the Parrot for connecting Iphone/MP3/AUX/USB (which works perfectly, and also only at driver-site). And one which was already there, at which I can connect an ipod/MP3/AUX. This I have had working only once. I pushed some buttons and suddenly it works at CD-changer 5. But that's another story.

Before I let the parrot-shop re-install the MKI9100, does my problem sounds familiar?

Thanks in advance.

If it was working perfectly before the install and is not working now then the obvious recourse would be to complain to the installer, as it's possible that they've accidently disconnected something that they should have left alone.

After all, they're supposed to be the experts, not you!

Sounds like they cut into the speaker cables to much. I believe the way parrots work is they have there own interal amp that powers the speakers so they need to patch into the existing speaker cable.

So music from the iPod is fine, it's only the radio that has a problem ?

Maybe they didn't connect the aerial back properly so the radio isn't getting a good signal on FM and switching randomly between stereo and mono modes ? I had a similar problem (sound only on drivers side) when one of the wires in my aux-in cable broke.

They found the problem!
They removed the old carkit wrongly, so an wire was hanging loose.
It is fixed, now the passanger has sounds too.

Only a new problem occured...
The subwoofers are not playing anymore.
I even think also the backspeakers could sound a litter harder.

It sounds like the amp for the rear is not connected anymore or the fuse is broken or the amp is broken...

It seems that I am not the only one with this problem.
The front is now sounding perfect, but the back (with the sub) doesn't work anymore (or very soft).

I think the parrot is muting the 2nd amp.

Could this be true?
Does the prof-radio in the Z4 have 2 amps?
And could it be that they installed the Parrot wrongly?
And if so, what sould I tell them, because it is very difficult to let someone figure this out themselves.

Basically my question is: whos had a Parrot in his Z4 with prof-radio, and how should it be connected?
