its probably no surprise from the avatar that i like a spot of heavy metal, although i do enjoy a bit of classic fm from time to time. just wondered what everyone else was into and if there were any fellow metalers in here

I like good old school like Led Zep etc
Into a bit of Celldweller at the moment.

Can we all have signed copies of the new album?! :lol:

Absolutely any music that stirs up some kind of emotion. I have just about every genre of music on my iPod :)

My metal experiences are limited though. Motörhead anyone? Used to like Rainbow, Whitesnake, Deep Purple, Girlschool, AC/DC when I were a grubby engineering apprentice

I liked metal when I was a school. Oldies Iron Maiden, Megadeth and Queensryche. Then at art school I got into hip hop, then breakbeat, then techno, then jungle, then...you get the picture. Suffice to say I will listen to any and all music*

*Disclaimer: does not include 90s Eurohouse, 'lite' identikit dance music or anything by the toffee haired wet-fest that is Justin Bieber.

No disclaimer needed. Unless you're a Belieber it's not music, and they don't count as they're all certifiable

Loaded the cd bank with Best "O" Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Blondie, and Hall and Oates.
Before you turn up your noses at those ...
There is alot of good music on those discs and I was prepping for Hurricane Sandy.

The other slots are occupied by Faces (Nod is as Good as a Wink) and Buffalo Springfield.
Keeps me grinning all the way to Starbucks and back.

I have two of those four, and also some Bruce Springbok

missed that haha - you can but you'll have to buy one first :)

we tend to listen to alot of varied stuff on tour - when we were out touring the states I seem to remember RATT got alot of airplay along with Kansas, a bit of Jethro Tull and some Ozric Tentacles

Ah, not sure about these but I have (in no particular order)
The Jam, The Vapors, The Undertones, The Buzzcocks, The Stranglers, The Ruts, Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys,Talking Heads, XTC, Skids, PiL. :headbang:
Then I've got;
Michael Jackson, The Human League, Kraftwerk, Echo and The Bunnymen, Frankie goes to Hollywood, Duran Duran, OMD, Blondie, Madness, (ahum Wham (!)), Simple MInds, Marillion, U2, Queen, Marillion, Heaven 17, Depeche Mode, Gary NUman, The Police, Blancmange but best of all New Order.
Then I've got;
Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins (and/or) Geneis, Green Day, Prodigy, The Stones.
Then
Take That, Lady Gaga, Paloma Faith, Adele, Enrique Iglesias (tiz true....), Blue, James Blunt, Darius, Will Young, Kaiser Chiefs, Westlife, Kylie, Pink, Robbie, Duffy etc etc.
Depends on mood, weather, time of day, destination and who (if anyone) is sat next to me.
Can't beat Radio 4 at 18.30 though. Comedy half hour such as The Now Show, News Quiz, Just a MInute and I'm Sorry I haven't a Clue.
Eclectic or what?
