Picked up my E86 Z4 3.0Si 2008 two weeks ago. I guess that qualifies me for the multiple owners thread.
My Z ownership started with a 2001 Z3 2.0 which was great fun.
Next was an E85 2.5 2006 Sport which tramlined like mad,until I replaced the Runflats with Vredestein Sessanta’s,they transformed the car.
I’d always fancied an E86 Coupe, so when the chance to change arrived I went for an E89 23i M Sport S Drive Highline model ! The wife still wanted a convertible !
I’ve been looking for low mileage E86’s for 15 months, and one popped up in Leeds, I mentioned it to the wife, and this time she didn’t object. So I traded in my E89 and became the new owner of a georgous E86 3.0Si Coupe Ruby Black Champagne Leather 2008 Auto with 29K on the clock.
The E85 felt like a sports car, the E89 is a GT cruiser, whilst the E86 is a fantastic drive, it can be cruiser or a sports car, the auto box is brilliant. I won’t miss the wind in the hair driving as the Coupe’ looks make up for it.

I'm trying unsuccessfully to keep up with Mr Wilks, but at least I've reached double figures.
Z4 No 10 is inbound this week.
Although only a baby, I've today shaken hands on a nice low mileage, Midnight blue 2008 2.0 M Sport. that the seller was failing to shift with a manual only roof
A little fettling needed to bring it up to tip top standard once I've sorted the roof and it'll make a lovely little runner for my wife and daughter to use this summer.
