muffler delete in the flesh please

Hi everyone

I want to book the car in with style dynamics, to have the muffler/back box deleted but really need to see and hear it done before I commit to it!

I have seen Andy's thread and the videos (on the computer, thanks ipad!) but you cant really tell how loud it is.

So would anyone that's had this done be willing for me to visit them so I can hear for myself?

Hey buddy, sorry didn't get back to you, been a bit busy lately and not been on a great deal. I'm in Somerset at the moment so not really in your area I'm afraid :( It is going to be very hard to tell how loud it is with sound clips, microphones and speakers will never give a great indication. It is loud though, I mean in the car I'm pretty much used to it now but then I don't use it every day. I would say do what I did and get them to fit the flanges on your original back box. That way if you really don't get on with it, its a simple jack up, unbolt the straight pipes and pop back on the standard box like new. Will cost a bit extra to get it done but most sensible option if you decide to go ahead with it. Hope someone else can help you out with a test drive!

I think it's very wise to get the flanges done, ill ask how much extra they'll do it for me and as you say could always bolt on the oem back on. Perhaps sell second hand the pipes if I got fed up with them

It's only a weekend car anyway
