Got them fitted front and rear with no noticeable increase in noise. Maybe its because I drive a tintop

I have MTEC drilled and grooved discs and Brembo pads, and experience a soft hum when breaking - but nothing whilst driving. Had them on for about 500 miles now.

problem solved, mine are the other way round from kermits picture.
i remember reading a thread somewhere about groves and which way they should be. arguments for both according to which way you looked at the reason for use.

all 4 are pointing the same way and thats grove curving forwards!

I have the same disks and pads. I asked the same question and was told it's due the style of the disk apparently the M3's had the same problem as standard and it's to do with the heat escaping from the middle of the disk the noise should just be from the rear.

Maybe if I'm feeling energetic ill swap them over but I would have to do all 4 discs and frankly that sounds a ballache. at the mo I have other stuff that's more important to do
