Spot on Jonny, it comes in 2 pieces and fits together very well. Well I'm hoping it does !
Painter rang me today and said that matt black maybe a better choice than gloss black because the splitter in his opinion will definitely take some knocks and matt black can be repaired on the car and painted using an aerosol however the gloss black finish would require removal and re paint obviously costing more.
So I went with GLOSS lol
 
Got the splitter fitted and this is how it looks

I don't think it will last long in this condition as it seems to be close to the road surface but I will update :thumbsup:
 
does look very good! im wondering what it will look like on my white Z..... wonder if i should get it sprayed white? :evil:
 
I really like that, good call going gloss - is it black sapphire or just a generic gloss black ?

It is very low though. What's the clearance in cm ?
 
I like that on a black car yes, probably not so much on a light coloured car (sorry Jonny).
 
Might be ok colour-coded ? Or matte on a light car with the bottom bumper strut wrapped in matte black ?
 
It flows on a black car, whilst in the linked advert it looked to me like an aftermarket stick on.

I think I paid 120 for the splitter last year from a forum member and it came in matt black with some impact marks on it, so I knew it was a try it out and see purchase. I paid 200 for it repairing, painting & fitting.
I will measure the clearance and update the thread and it's sapphire black Al :thumbsup:

11 cms ground clearance for info of all interested in this splitter.

The guy who fitted it said he could get it made if he had one to use as a template and would sell it for around 120 to 150 I'm sure I could haggle him down to 100 though if indeed he does come up with the goods
 
Looks really good mo. :thumbsup:

I actually think it looks more subtle on black... While on silver its more noticeable and in your face... Which is also a good thing if you'll be spending upwards of £500 on it!!
