In a moment of madness last week I swapped him out for a stubby fortunately after few days I saw sense so normal service is resumed.

Yes I do like the look of the stubby but it lacks in performance so unless the original sport antenna from BMW performs any better I’m sticking with the whip

Well yes I didn't like stubbies but having seen them on cars on a run I decided to fit one. I don't listen to the radio anyway, too much pap these days so reception isn't a problem. Not going back to a whippy now, nasty looking evil things Anyway I prefer to call them floppy, make of that what you will

Either look good,imo,but personal preference for some.
