Due a inspection 2 service shortly has any one used me vanos in Darlington had a quote for £510 or recommend any one else in north east England i am based in Middlesbrough.

I live in Darlington.
He has a good reputation in the bmw world and is very busy. I tried to use him but found him hard to pin down and a bit flaky when I did finally get in touch. That put me off to be honest in spite of his good reputation.
I was pointed in the direction of Dean (an ex BMW mastertech) of DWMotorworks and have used him a few times, most recently on Friday last week. He's based in Blaydon a few minutes for from the metrocenter. If you want his number I'll be happy to forward it too you.
Teesside autotech have a good reputation but believe they are not cheap.I've also heard good things about Sterling services but I've never used them myself.

Many indies offer a similar service and you can source the parts from a place like hack engineering who talked me through what was needed.
I used cpc engineering who were great but i guess there must be decent local indies to you.

Think I'll give mr vanos ago he seems to be well thought of in regards to Bmw engines across the forums.
