Anyone used Mr Vanos in Darlington for general work. Need my coilovers fitting and have zero time to do it myself.
 
I've not used him myself although I have tried. From all the research I did his work reputation is excellent and he is a very busy man however after several attempts of calling round and leaving messages on his answer phone I gave up (a shame as he is only a mile up the road from my house). Again from the research I did this is quite normal, some people said his work was worth the effort of trying but like I said I gave up and tried a guy called Dean at D W Motorworks, he also has a great reputation and my car goes in next week. He's at Winlaton Mill not far from the Metro centre 017572453258.
 
Yeah I've heard Mr Vanos can be hard to nail down. I have Teesside Autotech in the area too which have a really good rep also. I kinda need to drop it off in the AM shoot off to work and pick up in the afternoon. I'll give DW a look out. thanks

I've heard good things about these guys too.
 
I have used him a few times for the mrs z3 he is a good lad and knows his bmw,s I can recommend him with confidence :thumbsup:
 
I was at DW Motorworks last week with mine, the guy will bend over backwards to help you out and knows his stuff. Highly recommended :thumbsup:
He did inspection 2 for the last owner of my M, and without any hesitation he happily forwarded me the invoice/receipt for my docs and gave me a load of advice which saved me from a potential problem I wouldn't have otherwise known about. Top bloke.
 
Called Nick today at Sterling. Nice chap. quoted £160 all in to fit coils but he was open that he can't corner weight etc so I'd need an alignment anyway. ( unsure best place local in Teesside ) but that seems a good price. That includes getting the ride hight as I want so I guess there is a bit of far ( the last time I did my own was a pain getting it spot on ) Its about 10 mins from me :thumbsup:
