MPG Reading Stuck

How ofter is the MPG reading meant to change? Mine is reading 34.4 and has been for about a month. Doesn't change no matter how i drive. Can it get stuck? Is there a problem, or is this normal?

When was it last reset? As an average it would become more and more stable the longer it is left...

You obviously don't have satnav as you would have had 2 MPG counters then. One you would reset after each petrol fill, the other left for the life of the car.

I didn't know you could reset it, How do you do that?

Just hold in the button that you use to change the status from temp, time, trip, MPG in for about 5-10.

just press down the bc for more than 3 seconds and it will reset by itself.
