mpg for Z4 M 3.2

I know tyre pressure makes a difference to rolling resistance but was surprised recently by how much. Tried 34psi all round instead of the usual 31/32 and easily returned nearly 30mpg for half a tank with a mixture of motorway and A road driving. Ride was totally ruined though, to the extent that my wife and I both got sore backs for the first time ever! Back to 31psi and the ride is fine but I’m back on track for the usual 26-27mpg average.

Try changing pressures on a push bike and you'll quickly feel how much difference there is in the power needed to move.

Shouldn't you guys be like this when you average 17 MPG :D and like this when you achieve more?
