MPG Challenge from Onboard

Ok I give up at 47mpg on 35mile run on A roads and some round town, still not bad for a 3litre lump

I've had 99mpg over a 3 mile distance.

Just shows how meaningless the MPG figure is unless you do it over a whole tank.

Completely true! On my current 100 mile round trip commute the computer says I'm getting 34 MPG even with multiple resets. However I have done a good few tank full calculations which all come out at a steady 30...

I now leave the time showing on computer rather than MPG!
