- BlueMusic (Bluetooth) dongle for phone connection via CD changer (3+6) cable
- Replacement of vacuum hose running from brake booster
- Re-upholstering of SMG MFSW Chrome Line

Short term plans:
- Find out whether my roof motor has been relocated and/or if the drain holes actually work
- Find a solution for the DISA rattle issue
- Source the original toolkit with the towing eye and thingy for manually opening/closing the softtop - looked everywhere and its not in the car
- Re-upholstering of SMG Oregon beige shiftknob (factory spec, no longer made)
- Change coolant and brake fluid, according to service booklet both are long overdue, feel this can't wait until next year's inspection 2.

Your car looks stunning OP.

Good luck with the "short term plans", but I can see that list growing if you spend much time on here!

Thanks for your replies!

Had a great drive this afternoon, at cold start I noticed a rattle coming from the engine though. When listening closer to the block most of it (though not all) came from the DISA valve. I unplugged the connector of it while the engine was running, and it went away. Heard some stories that with DISA worn out parts of it can get into your intake > engine, so I'll leave it unplugged for now then. Should give me less torque, but idle is still OK and no check engine lights. Think it's ok to run the car without DISA until I find the best solution?

Have to delve deeper into the issue, there seem to be rebuild kits on the market (not sure also for 3.0 M54, which has different DISA then 2.5 M54 on my E46 which never had any problems). Not really tempted by the idea to slide my cash to the dealer and pay 280 bucks for a fully new unit. Could also go third party, then I can have a new whole unit for around 150. But have to research whether the rebuild kits solve all the problems, don't want to be stuck with only parttime or half solutions. :D
