quick question

if i burn a cd with MP3's should the track info be displayed on the sat nav display? it just says track 1

You have to name them Pete, download MP3 Tag or something similar.

I used CdEX to rip cd's to MP3 and it does the tags at the same time.

When you say the info is all there do you mean the file is named?

If you right click an MP3 file and check the properties is all the information there?

Track title, album etc?

Could be the software you are using to burn your disks. Might be losing the ID3 tags.

Edit: WMP reads and writes media information in the ID3v2 format. It can also read media information in the ID3v1 format.

That's your problem, you can't add cd text when burning a disc using windows media player. Get a third party one Nero etcetera or use iTunes
