mp3 player for Z4M Roadster

http://www.intravention.co.uk/forum/ind ... opic=702.0 is the list of supported iPods.

Worth mentioning that the ipod touch goes to sleep within about half an hour of leaving the car. It's not a problem for me as I've got the ipod cable in the cabin but not so good if you intend situating it in the boot.

Hi Dgm

The above link won't work for me, has it expired or can you resend, I was hoping for the wiring instructions as I have ordered all the bits.

Best wishes
Nick

Nick, it looks like they are upgrading to a new server. It didn't have the wiring set up in it anyway bu there are only 2 wires coming out of the OEM CD changer and they fit directly into the Intravee. You can't go wrong but if you have any issues just ask and I'm sure those of us who have already installed it will be able to assist.
For access behind the firewall in the boot try here:

Thanks so much, DGM - that link is brilliant!

I think I need an adapter D/A converter as I have DSP on mine, do you (or any of you who have added the Intravee) have DSP?

DSP is analogue in the Z, so no converter needed for the Intravee

I don't think you need a DSP adapter for the Z4s. I had to use one for my wife's X3 when I added a DICE interface but did not need one when I added the DICE interface to my Z4 Coupe.

Loving the Intravee so far!! It seems to just work out of the box, I have not done anything to it... Is that really okay or are there settings that I need to perform to refine it?

Would be great if they could add a feature to show cover art in the display box.... Maybe in time!?
