Don't touch like the sport button. You'll just look like a plonked as you kangaroo away. In fact you'll probably do that with it off anyway

Why is it so much worse than the clutch on the non m cars? different degree of clutch bite or throttle response?

clutch is fine, sport button, brisk acceleration, from a standstill can be a challenge to get right
Brisk acceleration is fine.

I find it's only when I can't decide whether I'm pootling off the line or doing a full-bore launch - as I end up with too much throttle for a soft-launch and not enough for a quick one - cue kangaroo.

Although I can't remember the last time I did it, as I've become used to getting it right for either situation.

It'll also be slightly worse when cold, as the engine/gearbox are lumpier.

Good stuff mate will not regreat it

Ps. Defo leave the sport button until at least 2rd on the test drive :)

Tbh i prob wont touch sport button until ive got used to the power, and then cos i wont have used it i ll feel it has something more to give thts not tapped into...
Saying that i will probably spend the journey home in it with sport on, doing 40-70mph(cos thts the uk legal limit) acceleration runs
