Moving to Intravee from DICE?

I have a DICE ipod adaptor thingy fitted and while it plays the music off my phone and charges it in a powered cradle it sometimes freezes and doesnt display track names the way it should. I am swithering moving to the Intravee and wonder if anyone can clear up a few questions?

If I get the Intravee - do I need the Alpine KCA-420i as well (given I have the Dice atm)
Will my phone still charge?
Will it display track names and info on the sat nav screen and will the MFSW controls operate it?
I have a Carver DSP - will this cause an issue? The website talks about needing a "DICE DSP Adapter" which I assume I have since the Dice is currently playing my music ok.

Cheers guys

Yes, the Alpine 420 handles the iPod integration part, but is only compatible with other Alpine 'AiNet' products. The Intravee converts the signals from AiNet to ones compatible with your stereo.

Older iPods and phones will charge, but you'll need a voltage adapter I believe for newer ones (like this: http://www.toysinyourcar.com/acatalog/info_5vadapter.html)

Track names and MFSW should work fine, but can't comment on the DSP I'm afraid

How old is the zed? If it's a facelift DSP will be fine. If you have optical input on your cd changers leads you will need a DSP interface.

Id3 tags and MFSW all work fine, along with the other extra functionality an intravee gives you.

Just checked - the amp in the boot only has the camlock connector. There is a connection for the coax on the unit itself but there is no coax cable there.

I am assuming this means that I dont have the optical input and wouldnt need a DSP adaptor.
