Moving to Edinburgh!!!!

Hello all!

I have just received an unconditional offer from the university of Edinburgh to my postgradute application. This can mean only one thing, I am heading North! I am more than excited to finally meet in flesh members of this forum. But first things first, since i know nothing about Edinburgh (never been there) i would like your help. I will be looking for a 2 bedroom house fully furnished to rent for about 18 months. Any suggestions regarding the region of Edinburgh i should start looking into? Any help will be rewarded with a beer as soon as i get there! 8) :thumbsup:
 
The Edinburgh based members will provide better info on location which best suits the University, in terms of home type- you may find a flat better suits your needs - Edinburgh like most Cities in Scotland (and unlike English Cities) does not have a great deal of small houses within the city it tends to be flats.

Id have the beer now before you start looking at central Edinburgh rents

As an Englishman but exiled up here i can tell you without being biased that you are moving to one of Europe's prettiest cities.
 
Yeah i've seen that the rent for what i am looking for is 1.000,00 GBP + but i think i will manage to buy you guys a beer :wink:
