hi Forum members,

been a while since I was last online, and just popped back in to say hi.
sad news is that I have just sold my Z4 3.0 and replaced it with a 330 cabrio as a 'family' run-around

but on a good note I put just over 30k miles on the car in 3 years and enjoyed every minute of them (apart from when my wipers stopped in the middle of the screen at about 220kph..)
with the help of the forum I managed to do the following-
fitted and Aux, renewed rear springs, removed and refitted my wipermotor, added Cruise control, fitted a MF steering wheel, installed a set of speakers to the doors, and many other tips and tricks like cleaning the water traps. oh and a stubbie

just wanted to say thanks for the motivation and guidance, even if it was contained in other posts, it was invaluable, and ill still pop by to talk myself into getting a Z4m..

yep like getting stuck in there so to say,
the 330 is a bit of a project, so I have a full set of front bushes, tie rods and gear shift bushed to go in, and an Oil filter housing seal....

reading the forums is like looking at a medical Wiki, as soon as you go back to the car another ' issue ' rears its head..

best mod by far was fitting the Hard top, followed by the cruise control, which as I live in Germany now I used all the time.

but I miss the hook up and drive out of the corners the car had, even on Pirelli run flats, so ill suffer the 330 for this summer and then see how the end of the year looks
