Oh Mate !! ... After all the cleaning that you have done :poke: .

But as the saying goes "everything happens for a reason" and the bright side is that in few weeks time you might be driving a 35i/35is.

I am considering the 28i as well for fuel economy reasons but I will have to test drive one first.

Hi Ben, you might as well get a 2.0i instead of the 2.8i as the engines are the same. The higher output is just mapping which you can get changed for a few hundred pounds

I think the 28i is a Twin Turbo 245bhp .... It is just a thought at the moment. I think I would need a lots of convincing from the 28i to leave my beloved and personalized 35i

Hi Ben, it's exactly the same as the 2.0i with a single turbo-ypthey can be mapped to about 270bhp

Great time to be looking for a replacement as well

Sorry to hear the news Rob.

Good luck with finding a replacement, don't go and test drive a Z4M as you may fall in love with the S54...... :D

Congratulations on getting your money back without a struggle.
Hope your search for a replacement doesn't take too long.
Cheers, Dave
