I'm not sure any Z4 is special enough to pay for dry storage... in fact it's not. Plus you'd have to keep up the servicing, etc, which means keeping it taxed and insured, all an expense and hassle you won't need when 4000 miles away.
So sell it now and buy another when you return... need to think with the head on this one and not the heart.
+1 on this. Z4 not special enough for this I think. The costs will probably equal any benefits. Get the cash, invest it, buy a great car in 3 years. Spend that time watching the new cars come out, knowing you will have your pick later.
