Mouse BBQ anybody?

So my DD has been parked up (worryingly next to where the zed and cooper sd sleep) and it hasn't moved for a couple of months.

Decided to jump start it and make sure all is looking OK as it needs an MOT, then I'll probably take the reg off it and say farewell. Anyhow , the bonnet sound proofing looked a bit saggy, and I was trying to remove the clogged up washer jets when I soon realised what I had my hand in - mouse nest. Absolutely F-ing disgusting, ripped the whole thing off and binned it.

Hope so so much they don't get anywhere near the "proper" cars!!! Way too close for comfort.

Little did I know at this point when the zed was performing CPR :cry::cry:

Yes it has definitely made me paranoid. Bats in the house rafters and now mice in the cars.

They were dead, but didn't look like they'd been dead for long. Wondering if I'd , Erm over heated them whilst the car ran for about an hour charging itself. What a mess they make!! Thankfully wiring all "looks" fine.

When my wife had the horses she used to carry all sorts of farm type crap in her car. It stunk and was dirtier than the horses stable. I remember driving her 1 series one day when a little field mouse suddenly ran along the top of the dash and popped down the gap between the dash and the windscreen never to be seen again.

Haha brilliant. It probably had a name too. I sent the gf the pic earlier and her only worry was for the mouse!

It has crossed my mind once or twice with the car being shut up for 4 months without being touched.

Wires being chewed is my biggest concern I think.

I took a previous car to the garage for a service, and when they put it up on the lift a rabbit dropped out. (alive). The car had been sat for 6mnths then had been driven back up the country to the family home, 400miles on the motorway, must've been sh*tting itself.

In the summer I kept finding mouse droppings on the bonnets of the cars. It was driving me mad until I Sussex out they were jumping on there to drink the condensation because it had been so dry.
Little feckers.

This may be worth a go

Glad it isn't just me that shares belongings with the little pipsqueaks. As long as they leave the zed alone, and don't die and clog up my roof drains :D

The soap looks interesting, I wonder if it was a coincidence that the guy noticed no more nice though. I can't really put anything around to repel them that could harm other animals as there's a lot of other wild life that seems to take a fancy round here, as well as next door's Labs.
