Mounting GoPro in Coupe

I used the curved base and mounted to the rear view mirror.

When the GoPro isn't attached you can't see it so very neat

Bmwz4se - have you ever tried to remove the adhesive mount from the dash after you've used it.
Does it come off ok without leaving any mess or damage?

It comes off clean bit its tough

Ideally you want to leave it alone

if you use a slightly narrower fov it works even better

Is there no way of mounting it without the waterproof casing?
I've heard the sound recording is supposed to be miles better without the waterproof bit.

I've got the Skeleton door thing for the case which lets a bit more sound through.

I bought an external mic - makes things heaps better there are skeleton cases you can get on eBay for like a fiver though... Up to you but everything I've read suggests the inbuilt mic is s**t anyway so worth getting something better...

Anyone else notice that the external mic creates audio interference if you have wifi turned on. The reports state it's because the GoPro turns it into an antenna :thumbsdown:

Means I can't use an external mic with Harry's LapTimer or the GoPro app :thumbsdown:
