I rode it for a little while prior to my op and found it very much more compliant than my Kona AA - Unfortunately those days are gone now :thumbsdown:

Having a look that is definitely a retro bike. Cantilever brakes and the Rock Shox Indy C’s are a dead give away.

I only know this because I was really into mountain biking when that bike came out.

Have a look at the retro bike forum as I suspect you may get a better buyer on there. Maybe someone who wants to restore it.

For comparison, I have a barely used Felt Compulsion , disc brakes, air spring, 27 speed etc. From 2010 and I’m looking at £300 for a previously £1800 bike.

What size frame and wheels is your Felt bike Wildfire...?

Hi John, I think it's a Medium (but it could be small) frame and 26" Wheels. It's a Compulsion 4 with Equilink. Bomber Z4's and Fox Float Vanilla. I think it's a SLX / Deore mix.

I totally bought the wrong bike. I was always a bit more of an XC guy and tried All Mountain / Trail. If I start again, I'm looking at a Trek Pro calibre 27.5.

I can check the specs if you want?

Well, I got the Felt Compulsion out again, went around the local park. Did some local trails.

Now I'm looking at a new bike....
