Not sure if theyll show it but Motorway Cops on BBC1 now - after a stolen Z4.
 
£15k at auction. Looks good but cant see if it has a stubby or not.
EDIT: Had the whip. Poor b@stard. 2 hours ownership. Seized.
 
He bought at BCA - no worries he'll get a full refund. Unusual for the car to pass their checks though.

Buying at a decent auction (BCA, Manheim) is a LOT safer than buying privately.
 
Yes I saw this at the end of the programme they said he got a full refund, so at least he didn't loose £15K. not sure of the reg as it had a private plate but looked nice.
 
Only just seen this! Just sitting with my mate who was the trader that bought that car :D

Just checked on iPlayer but it's been taken down so I can't see his 15 minutes of fame. The whole incident happened around a year ago...
 
Damn! Poor guy. So what happened afterwards? Did he get it fully sorted? Felt for him. Looked like a lovely example too.
 
Full refund but took months :(
