Not such an issue in my house but as said D) separate bank accounts 
Mike went to work one day and by the time he got home is done a deal to trade my E88 for a E89 
I don't mind what he buys just like he doesn't mind what I buy but then it helps that we like the same things. It would drive me mental having to try and justify or sneak in a purchase.
He is under no illusions about how much the things I buy cost and vice versa. As long as the bills are paid then it's all good
Or you could be like my Dad and when he's made a purchase of the BMW type and before my mother threatens divorce (as she usually does when he mentions buying another) you could always treat her. Last time it was a Hoover and after I said that might not go down as well as he may have hoped, he also bought her something sparkly. That also didn't go down too well as she says she has too much

Getting a pair of Aeroskirts picked up from a dealer in France while on holiday next month may prove tricky though
I'm in France end of next month for 4 weeks , get them delivered to mine , call in and see me on a social basis and I'll have them lying around in my way , then I'll just say I ordered them wrongly and you can have them if they are any use to you !
Only problem may be location , I'm dordogne and France is a big place to pop over and see someone :lol:

I suppose I'm luckier than most as the E89 was the wife's idea, so prat face was given the task of finding one which I did ,what's more surprising is now I want to sell it she says no chance , she keeping it , it's the fortune ive spent on cleaning products ,polishing ,detailing, wheel cleaners,leather cleaners and conditioner ,CTEK, AB foam lance ,spare 326 alloys ,front bumper re spray and the smart top,kit is considering all of which she is in the dark about , ,but I have to admit I find it a bit of a turn on when I see the bread knife driving the zed with the roof down
