Just seen a sky news report that suggest the law will change to allow local governments to run Motorsport events on our streets mainly a London GP - what about the pot holes ! Cars won't last one lap !

If it's allowed and it can be done in Scotland I'm going to apply to be the host of the Broughton street races. It seems to take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It would be good to see some real racing in the streets of the UK, I would enjoy that more than going to the track. Plus if it was kak I could go shopping!

How about a linear race - London to Edinburgh? Via Birmingham and Manchester of course.
I think this is specifically for running F1 around central london afaik, presumably a night circuit. There was some discussion this year about restrictions stopping them parading F1 cars down the main streets to show off as part of the silverstone warmup.
Would be incredible if they do it, hopefully it's not just the west end and comes into the City.
