Motologic, Middlesex

Inkey - never used them. I'm always a bit wary of a company that only provides a mobile number as a contact point and from Google Earth what appears to be a residential house as an address. Just me being wary in my old age. Maybe an excellent person just starting up in business who deserves a chance. :driving:

Good advice. There's always a chance ge could be some backstreet cowboy with access to Dreamweaver and an old software module :)

maybe that is just the registered company address and they have premises elsewhere for the servicing ?

But you would put that on your website not this one surely.

you and I would, who knows :?

I admit it does look strange, just trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, nothing a phone call wouldn't sort out I suppose.

edit - nothing under companies house for motologic at the location... just this for Motologic PLC

There are loads of great one man army mechanics working in residential garages. I would say meet him and judge for yourself.

I've decided to go 'main dealer' on my niggly issues and booked the car into Stephen James, Blackheath for Monday. On the list of things to do/check are:

- General software update incl MFSW module install (£175)
- Check cam chain/vanos noises and rattle
- Short electronic whine in low revs when pressing the accelerator
- Reattach lower radiator long plastic protector.
- Investigate PDC sensor sporadic problems.

On top of the software price its £99 for a general diagnosis on my issues plus whatever it ends up needing w/labour. I have everything crossed the jobs are going to be fairly minor - especially the engine and accelerator issues
