Moto GP

There were quite a few crashes in Qualifing on the saturday too.It takes balls to ride one of those bikes with a broken ankle like Stoner did.
It is a pity Stoner is retiring,he is good to watch when he gets it sideways.Rides it like he stole it!
I hope Rossi gets up to speed on the Yam,we need more riders fighting for the lead.
Did any of you see the last WSBK race from Silverstone, there was a right crash on the finishing line.
That is good racing too.

What do you do in the paddock?

I work for one of the GP teams - I drive a truck which is part of the hospitality unit. :-)

Which team do you drive for?

My dad was Wayne Raineys mechanic when he rode for Kenny.

Use to love Moto GP (500's) back in those days with Wayne, Schwantz and Doohan.

I'd have to agree with the 500's. A long time ago. I lived in Japan. And was able to score a press pass from a British moto journalist for the Suzuka race. Even before getting the pass. My mates and I were bowling at the circuit three days before the race. And who should show up at the lane next to us. Kevin Schwantz, his father and trainer. What a super nice guy. In fact all three are great people. I was of course a Schwantz fan. As back then I rode a Suzuki RG Gamma. Out of the 39 bikes I've owned. The RG was my favorite. Kevin won that race in 1988. We watched him win again in 1989. Thanks DPG for jogging my memory. Those were the halcyon days for me.
