In the s**t today. Didn't get the wife a card from our 3 mutts and she threw a wobbly! And expecting a frosty phonecall tonight with my mum for not going to see her.

Phoned my mum. No answer (probably at my sister's who monopolises them on high days and holidays) and the answer phone isn't working. Ho hum.

Spent lunchtime playing the piano watching lot's of people out having there Mother's day lunches... back home to have our meal this evening

Had a good day today for Mother's Day. Sunday lunch with the family. Kids, wife, mother, grandmother, my sister and auntie and uncle.
I think my grandmother thoroughly enjoyed herself. Haven't a clue how old she is but I'm 50 next year and she's still as fit as a fiddle, bless her

I took my mum out for lunch, drive back to Edinburgh was a little bit dangerous. Snow everywhere, black ice and saw at least 8 cars either crashed, ditched or stuck

Glad I was in the Clio and not the zed

75 miles took 3 hours
