Took the coupe for MOT today, the MOT'er liked it so much he took a few snaps for himself!

Let a scratch on the steering wheel for his troubles though :headbang:

Oh well - another years ticket allows me to buy another years tax..

Insurance next month too oh its piling up again..

I just insured my car with Aviva. For a decent company they were very competitive, and with £80 cash back (hopefully) via Top Cashback my fully comp cover costs just over £200/year.

I should say that I'm 50, driving only 3k miles per year in it, keeping it in a garage and have 6 years NCB.

Yeah I took mine in to a garage to have the 224's put on and the mechanic had to ask what it was.

Well done for the pass-how do you think he managed that? :(

I'm not sure, I think it was perhaps a ring? I only noticed on the way home.. :(
Had similar happen on a past car-only it was a big chunk taken out of the underside on the handbrake handle, couldn't be seen but I felt it every time I put the handbrake on.

need to get mine MOT'd soon...... i hate that time as your car is in the mercy on whatever cock is testing it..... i watch like a hawk

I don't watch at all - but then it goes to the same guy that does my services, whom I have a lot of trust in.

Is it OCD or OTT to put bubble wrap on a new steering wheel, gear knob, handbrake handle and cover on drivers seat when going in for MoT ?
