MOT time

Booked my z in for MOT a couple of weeks ago when the weather forecast said it would be dry - took it down this morning - 2 miles in light rain brought it back with the wheels a bit dirty and the roof a little damp have had to sponge it over with clean water and put it back in the garage waiting for it to dry off before I buff it up !! What a sad bastard I am


Passed with no advisories as usual - before someone asks I managed 400 miles since the last MOT but mileage has now gone over 30k ( just )

Nothing wrong in looking after your Z I keep mine regularly washed had my MOT 2 weeks ago washed the car the day before then when getting back from MOT less than a mile away I gave the car a QD including wheels then re dressed the tyres

So what does the MOT look for when inspecting your cars?

We are entirely inconsistent when it comes to vehicle inspection in the States. As an example, here in Tennessee, we do not have emmissions or service inspections with the exception of one or two cites.

Some of the states have one or the other. Some have both.

Just did a quick pass through. Looks reasonable I suppose. Some of the inspection stuff was a little odd: "there are no sharp edges likely to cause injury"

Ha Ha. I guess car manufactures better not advertise "Cutting edge technology and design"
