mot time

tomorrow is MOT day, the first one since I've owned the car so as it was looking rather unloved I thought I'd give it a clean, AG hood cleaner for the roof, 2 bucket method, used a carnauba wash and wax I picked up in Aldi for £2.99 not bad really, after it was washed I dried with a microfiber towel. after that I gave it a quick polish with T cut colour restoring polish. looks ok I think, probably not up to some high standards on here but it'll do for now. future plans include clay bar, polish & wax, stone chips addressed and wheels, not sure what to go for at the moment, thinking 108's or CSL reps. anyway fingers crossed for the MOT.

Always good to pass straight through. Never thought of washing cleaning before and MOT, tending to check lights, washers, instead, etc.

Mine passed this week with no preparation done and no advisories received. Not bad given she was 10 in May :)

To celebrate I went the long way home round the seafront through Weston shore and netley abbey, roof down and sport button on.

I always check the usual but I've got LED sidelights and thought it might of been a problem. Mine was 10 in May as well. Not bad for an oldie.
