Clean bill of health, always a relief

Didn't even get an advisory on the rear tyres, which I'd expected. Did get one for the nearside headlight having no kick up though, which is weird. Chap said it's nothing to worry about, could be as simple as the bulb. I'll get them to check it out next time it's serviced.

No, the headlights level ok, it's the shape of the beam itself. There is a slight kick on the left of both beams that help light up the side of the road. Thinking about it - is there an adjuster on halogen lights for travelling on the continent ? I changed the bulb a while back and may have knocked something ? If there is, and anyone has a picture of it so I can find and reset it, then that would be ace.

Re: the lights you should have a levelling adjustment under the bonnet. When mine were off the MOT guys did it for me. Unless I've got the wrong end of the stick!

did it get an advisory on the floppy top roof?

Funny you should mention that - it got an MOT Gold Star for being a convertible Taz. Chap said that normally, and particularly in the weather down here today, it would have failed for being a coupe :P

Cheers inkey$ - I will have a look later
