MOT not gone well

Just sitting down to enjoy a free coffee at BMW, and the guy comes in and tells me the horn isn't working, not what you need on MOT day with a week left to expiry. Only good/surprising thing was they told me first and didn't fail me on it, that would have killed me.

There is clicking coming from the passenger footwell, so I assume it needs new horns, surprised to see we have two, not sure I've ever heard more than one. Gone home to sulk now, no chance of getting this sorted in the next week

Although it's a good opportunity to get a set of marine airhorns on there

A minor problem! What if she had failed on emissions? You would be inconsolable by now.

I believe they can be accessed through the fog light access panel, but failing that by removing the splash guard under each front corner.

It's strange really. I've seen the car several times and it has a great spec even including extended leather and power-fold mirrors!

The only thing missing is Sat Nav, which these days nobody seems to want anyway! :lol:

I'd kill for a non-nav dash, its outdated and irritating having the screen plonked in the middle. My old si non-nav dash looked much nicer imo!

I think those are the only options, going back 10 years or so on a Sussex trip Mark went the wrong way (no satnav) and as he doesn’t have BT we couldn’t contact him :lol:

Further, no seat heating, no PDC, no HIFI, no cruise, no CF (?) - hence taking the p* out of him :lol:

The nav-less flimper spec seems to appeal to most Z4 owners now.
Isn’t it funny how what was once undesirable eventually has its day in the sun. I wonder if that will ever apply to pondrew…
