Had my Alpina (No. 206) in for its MOT today and passed with no issues. Not bad for a car registered in 2005 and built `June 2004, so almost 19 years old.

I know the feeling as I got a clean MOT for mine last week!
I bet 99% of people couldn't care less whether they have advisories or not, as long as it passes.

Yet some of us (including myself) look on a clean MOT as a satisfying achievement! I get a warm fuzzy feeling when I check my cars' histories and see no advisories during my ownership!

Maybe I'm a bit anal too as I much prefer to see no advisories!

My car last had a couple in 2012 for undertrays and engine covers being fitted obscuring some components. FFS why do they do this? :headbang:

AND those advisories come and go. Makes it look like the undertrays could have fallen off.
Seen a few recently with 'objects fitted obscuring the driver's view, but doesn't impair safety'. In that case why mention it? :headbang:
