MOT day!!

tomorrow is the good old MOT day.... infact its been run out since may and i didn't notice until a friendly policeman reminded me the other day!! lol!!
Anyway she's booked in for tomorrow , and apart from the rain storm thats forecast at around the same time, I'm hoping all goes well!!  My car seems to struggle on the emissions testing side of things and usually fails or barely scrapes by... The joys of aftermarket FI can also become your pain.

Anyone else MOT day looming ??

Had mine today - pleased to say she flew through... only 905 miles since the last one though...

Good luck for tomorrow Beedub.

Mine passed its MOT on Saturday, with no advisories. Had done nearly 8k miles since last time and in total the car has done just over 110k miles.

I am happy! :)

Better a garage queen than the sort of car that'll hang around on street corners wiggling her arse at everyone...t1543.gif

thanks guys!! will report back tomorrow and maybe a few sneaky pics.

i deliberately booked a garage a good hr away to get those cats really warm, lets see if we can get a true pass without me having to reason with them!

what a great day... car passed with flying colours and even scraped the emissions testing today I'm guessing due to the hot ambient temp....
Cruised along the motorway for a god couple hours at 65 , no music, just listening to the engine , sun shining... Bliss.

pretty dire at less than 900 :x :x it seems myself and perry need to sort it out, i do however have some trips planned with the car in september which will add some really nice miles

Congrats Byron  - even when you're pretty sure that they're not going to find anything wrong, it's still a feeling of relief at the end when they hand you the cert...

definitely perry.

I felt deep pride when I'm at svm home to some serious exotica and the staff and coming over to chat and are taking pics... The car so much love today, staff were literally in awe of a little z4 thats sat next to mclarens and 1000hp GTRs.

The said its one of the most detailed builds they'd seen, and commented how the car appeared new like condition, was genuinely taken back by the attention. i adore this car even after all these years.

i took a pic of one of the staff.... taking pics.

even more funny was i had to revert to the z4 NAV after my phone locked up and wouldnt navigate, the z4 setup got me their to the door, it may look/sound dated, but it works really well, thats the first time id used it in years. it did so well I'm going to update the disc and stop using the phone.

thanks buddy!! Great to feel this way all these years on.... like i muted a few weeks back theirs some really cool projects coming for this car, i haven't touched it for a while so its well overdue some "love"....

I'm hoping to come and see the Jag soon! keep modding with all those SVR bits.

Sure - back in the UK in a week.
If we don't catch up there's always the Z4 meet in August
Def want to hear about more mods on the ///M
