MOT Day

 But after 67 miles since the last one you’d hope so :poke:
Andy, 1600 miles  it was those extra breakfast and lunch meetings with the Caledonian lot putting the mileage up! Working from home the last 4 years, not using any of the cars much

Congratulations - I always have bated breath when getting the call to say everythings ok!

My MOT yesterday wasn't quite so "trouble free". It failed as both front adaptive suspension units were leaking "excessively". :o

Just had the call from BMW to say its covered under my warranty with £100 excess. IMHO well worth the piece of mind, especially on the 35is.

Well another 6,000 miles in the original Yellow Peril..MOT passed with flying colours..those pesky 4 pot critters just keep on rolling :tumbleweed:

Despite the bigger turbo and lots of twiddling emissions passed by a country mile..

Sorry to hear that, but at least you will only be paying the excess! I've been very lucky so far, the 23i has been very economical and practical to keep. Tempted like so many other to look at the 35is (amongst a list of others), but like the thoroughbred pony it is it can be an expensive animal to keep and I'm a cr4p driver anyways.... it would get me into more bother than I would need :driving: :police:

Yes quite..well the other Yellow Peril has just chalked up 55,000 miles since I bought it in August 2021..so that's another 5,500 miles of zedding in addition to the 6,000 miles so that's 11,500 miles of Zedding in 2021... :driving: not bad for someone who hasn't driven to work or business for nearly two years..

Hopefully the 35is MOT in August will be a pass...but that's only cause I've spent over £10,000 on it so far this year.. :tumbleweed:

Should have bought a G29.. :fuelfire: :poke: :tumbleweed:

At least it’s covered Rob, that’s two years premium at least covered so cost neutral

Hope it gets sorted quickly

Peter and Rich always seem find good locations for breakfast/lunch meets... the last one I must have done about 200 miles

Cheers Andy, yes BMW were very good (despite me worrying they'd try and wiggle out of it), it took them a day to get the parts, and it was done the next day. Now retested and passed, thank goodness! :driving:
