MOT day

First time in a while I’ve had to take a car for an MOT and the first time in my ownership that I’ve had to take this one for it’s MOT so slightly nervous but……

Pass - no advisories :)

History of the car is really good and one of the attractions for getting it so pleased to keep this up

Good stuff, I too bought my 3.0 54 reg partly on old mot history ...mine has just gone straight through too....can't understand why people would take a car to an mot with carcass showing on tyres or brake pads grinding ....just shows a lack of care/interest.

In the old days, before MOT history became a matter of public record, it was OK to take your car in for an MOT just to find out what needed doing.

Even when you know your car should pass it's still a great feeling of relief walking out with a new MOT certificate. :)

It's a good feeling when you get a 'good bill of health' with no advisories. A bit like getting an 'A' in an exam (not that I ever did!). :D

I gave mine a hosing off underneath and a wash (I drove through a load of pig slurry the day before the MOT). It was my usual garage and the tester commented on how clean the underside and wheel arches were.

No advisories and a comment of 'that cars tip top' :D

I think making a good impression with the car and taking it in in a clean state is important come the MoT. It can't hurt after all. I'm OCD with my car at the best of times but MoT day I'm even worse 🙈
