So I’m going to change all my shocks and want to know what compressor tool users have found to be most suitable. I have the old conventional type but I feel I may need to buy a decent tool for the job. Any suggestions please?

After nearly firing a 1 series M Sport spring through the garage roof I gave up on the old style wind-up ones, picked up a floor standing hydraulic compressor which has done two E85s now.

Not the easiest with M-Sport springs (very little to grab onto!), you're more than welcome to borrow it and see if it works for you though.

(Edit: added picture of it)

Exactly the same as mine brilliant bit of kit

pays for itself after one pair of shox installed

I’ve got one as well and it’s brilliant for the money. You can use the weight of the car to do it though.
