most robust under body paint

I want to get the rust off my suspension members and paint them, but I don't know what is the best paint to use. The car is for everyday use not showing so I want something that is robust to the environment and will hold the rust at bay for a while.

Any suggestions?

And there's something harry metcalfe used on his testarossa france roadtrip video too. He swearsby it apparently. Search 'harry's garage'.
 
You can buy chassis paint. Sticks well, easy to apply and lasts
I suppose though it depends what you're painting. Downside if not using a self sealing product then once damaged rust works really fast underneath it
