Most powerful E89 engine

Which model can I get the best speed performance out of for E89 after tuning?

I know G29 will be better regardless but I'm hardtop fan and not keen on investing in those.

Dropping it out of a Hercules at altitude would make it go faster.
Then the 6-cylinder cars would be faster.
The 4-pots, being perfectly balanced would fall flat, creating more drag, whereas the nose-heavy 6-pots would tip forward, reducing their drag.
:fuelfire: :D

Looked at celtic tunning. With 2.0 I can get 99 HP and 91lb/ft to a total of 280HP and 290 lb/ft torque. With 35is it's an extra 57 HP and 68lb/ft totalling 392HP and 400lb/ft torque.

The only thing is that 35is is Automatic, so I can really abuse my Z4 the way I want it to.

Did you achiever more than 280HP on manual in z4 E89 engine?

Well the most powerful as standard was the 35is so long as you don't mind a DCT gearbox with the 35i just a little less powerful.

But as they both have a twin-turbo engine more power is only a remap away!

If you are tweaking then any N54 powered E89…35i or 35is will do..

Depends how much you want to spend and what fuel you want to burn..you can make over 1000bhp at the crank..
