most points and longest without

I got 5 points in my 1st month of driving. Only reason i didnt get banned is i worked on the motorways so needed a car. Havent had any since

Longest without any points on my licence has to be about 18 months. I seem to get some every 5 year's or so.
There's no rehabilitating a career criminal or so they say

....as someone said in those days you had to have a parking light at night - you could buy one that you could clip in the window and hope the battery still had enough power left in the morning to get it started - the advantage with a minivan was that if you were on a flat road you could push the bugger with the drivers door open , get up a little speed then jump in and " jump " start it like a motorbike - halcyon days :)

Memories. Had one on my first car a Ford Prefect 100E, a good safety feature with poorly lit roads in the 60's and I think the law was that if you were parked on a bus route then you needed one. Never took a chance when parking in Cambridge City Centre which you do in those days.

Speed awareness course in England

Done for speeding in New Zealand once

Done for speeding in Australia twice

Banned from driving in Australia for a month once

Oops :? :?

Been driving since 1990, only ever had 3 points in 2006 for doing 61 in a 50 on a dual carriageway... right at the point where it went from 70 to 50. Should've known better tbh as they sit there all the time

19 years driving (legally) and seem to collect 3 points every 6 years or so.....

for the mileage and speed I drive/ride at, I'm pretty happy with that....

:D

Same as this guy in 29 years of driving/riding, I get a few points every now and then. .
I have probably been let off for speeding more than being convicted.
Never had a fine for parking though.

I got away with it for fifteen years, including being let off when stopped at over 120mph on the motorway when I was 23. Then I got three points twice in a year. I don't drive as quickly as I used to anymore - it must be that I'm growing up at last!
