most embarrassing moment in your Z4

Stalling after a light turned green.... and I forgot to put my gas cap back on... in traffic. :oops:


Getting rained on with the top down? Once, just had to drive faster. :driving: :thumbsup:
 
Was by the beach with the top down in an unfamiliar place. I drove into what looked like a parking area and then got stuck in the soft sand! I tried accelerating out, no joy, switched off traction control hoping it would help, no joy, in the end I saw a few guys in their cars and asked them to help push me out of my mess, they were really helpful and with some back and forth pushing I got out, really embarrassing and won't be doing that again...
 
A few months ago, had only owned for a days... Went to get some fast food, waiting in line at the drive thru. Beautiful day, top down. People walking by, staring at the Z4. Awesome car.

It took a while, little to no progress. Was wondering whether the BMW Business would play MP3 CD's. Where else to look but in the User Manual. Browsing through the manual, still waiting in line. More ppl are walking by. All of a sudden, someone jells 'The gas pedal is the one to the right!' ... lacking a proper response, I smiled and put the manual away. Wont come out of the glove box any time soon ...

Had driven Z4s most of the day in the Ultimate drive (all automatics, of course) so I didn't test drive the Coupe I bought. I had been driving a 325Ci, 5 spd, for 4 years and a Probe GT, also 5 speed for 9 years before that. Let's just say you need to slip the clutch a bit going from 2nd to 3rd as well as from 1st to 2nd.... didn't stall it, but she sure was bucking. :oops:
