It is as going soooo well until the “ gear lever” came into sight..... I would love one of these but a three pedal car would better suit something as light, sporty and l imagine good handling as this.
Maybe I am just getting old but I just can’t get excited about a sports car with an auto box. :driving:

I have never understood why people buy new houses in the style of old houses, Tudor, Victorian, Edwardian, Georgian, etc. To me, new houses should reflect today and be modern and contemporary. After all the Victorian's never built Georgian style houses, they built modern homes in their time. Same goes for Morgan. That style belongs in the past. DRL's within the headlights? Really?

Old stuff looks better, but drives worse
This way it looks better and drives better, restomod style
It's a win win situation

Sorry Phil, it doesn't look better, it is the 'Emperor's Clothes' scenario.

Believe Morgan missed a real opportunity here, where using the new chassis:
- do as they’ve done for those who want a retro looking car with all the benefits a modern skeleton brings.
- AND offer a completely new modern look body

That way I believe they’d create an appeal to a much wider audience

If you want a modern looking car, there are loads to choose from. If you still like the retro look, this gives you the choice. Morgan have a strong following, so can't see this not selling.

Still want an Aero 8

Me too... lusting after one ever siceitcame out. It’s futuristic, in an old school way... a bit like the car from league of extraordinary gentlemen.

Mmmmm wood

Ha :D
I'm not sure I want a sports car that has a wooden subframe :?

That’s similarly what they first said about the Mosquito in WW2... which was able to fly faster, pack heavier guns & take more punishment than either a spitfire of hurricane
