Yesterday I went on a tour of the Morgan factory in Malvern. It was an excellent way to spend two and half hours.
The guide we had was a long time Morgan owner,he was very informative and allowed plenty of time for questions as we moved though various departments .To make sure you don't miss anything that is said everyone is issued with a hearing aid.The tour ends in the small museum .
Morgan's are fitted with various makes of engines,Harley Davididson,Ford , Mustang,B.M.W.
If I had the money an Areo would be on my shopping list,it would have to a manual as they only ever made one auto.

I went there two years ago as I was in the area for work.

Couldn't find the car park so I left my 5 series in one of the directors spaces.

Suited from work I was met by an employee who gave me a personal tour and left me to wander freely around the plant.

While the cars are pretty expensive, their is an informal old fashioned feel about the place,i.e no security on the gates etc.
They manufacture under a 1000 cars a year,so can get away with not having to comply with a lot of modern legislation ,air bags for instance.
The skills in the woodworking dept and trim area are a thing of beauty.
A few pics from the day
The Black three wheeler is an electric prototype. The one with the stunning paint work is owned by a local undertaker and goes by the name Grim Reaper.

Great little write up and pics. Living in yocal land there are a few plus fours around theses parts. Like you say an Areo is a very tempting proposition, if the purse permits. 8)

There is craftsmanship and looks - but I had a test drive between my E85 and my previous E89 and it was not a good experience !

The test drive got the inclination to buy and own such a stunning looking classic out of my system!
