More Hosepipe Ban Crap

Not only do we know that using a hosepipe to wash the car will use less than buckets, I've just found out that my local Water Company (South East Water) will allow the over 65's to ignore the hosepipe ban.

Where is the logic in that :x

Well, as your dad is now retired, he can start a car wash business now.

Alternatively, have him sit on the drive whilst you wash the car

He is only 62 but the director at work who pointed it out to me is 67, so I have already told him he can hold the hose.

So ... helicopters to spy from the sky, then a gound force team to check the age of the person they have spotted

Perhaps they could use the same effort to fix the leaks that have been running in my road for 13 years now.

Oooo business idea. Ferry around over 65's to sit in your front garden while you use a hosepipe.
