More BHP Required ???

 Co, Durham.
Hi just thinking about 4 seats but still want the same or more bhp as my 3.0 Z4. I was thinking diesel for the mpg. A 3 series would be my only choice coupe would be nice. If i had the cash it would be a 335d but i aint, so whats the best way forward in warming up a 320d. Any body went down this road, please let me know how you got on any ideas and comments welcome.

Wouldn't a 325D/330D be the best bet if they 335D is too expensive and the 320D too slow?

You'll have to get used to the drop in revs though (something like 2500rpm less to play with).
 
I don't get this fascination with diesels :?

Had a diesel Mazda 3 courtesy car yesterday and while I admit that it was reasonably quick once the turbo was kicking, catch it off boost and it was a slug....

Also got stuck in some traffic at times and while I'm sure it wasn't burning much fuel the vibrations through the car were enough to make me and mrs gannet feel sick :thumbsdown:

Along with all that they cost more and the diesel also costs more so I see you would have to be doing serious miles for the saving from MPG to make itself felt :idunno:

Was enough to convince me that I shall be buying Petrol cars for the foreseeable :D

I'm going diesel next simply because it will save me money, diesel is 1p more a litre and with my car currently not seeing 3rd gear much i need as much mpg as i can get. I'm after a 330D E92/E93
