The water splashing up was twice as high as the car!

I assume you're not not ending to keep the car loo long?

Perhaps she does not know that the bow is the front of the car :poke: :fuelfire:

Perhaps slow down ... :poke:

Nah! No fun that way. Anyway you have to create a bow wave through deep water. :D

If you knew where your air intake was you wouldn't be creating any bow waves.

It wasn't that bad! Look at the front of the car. I wasn't racing through it, the water was coming up at the sides.

You are a brave girl indeed!

I once had a hire car astra, before the days of sat navs, drove through a ford, water up the top of the bonnet, next day wanted to return it and it was dead.

Perhaps she was applying make up as well at the time of driving and taking the picture whilst talking on the phone :D

This is how to cross water in a Jeep...

Before you ask - yes it skims over the surface using paddles on tyres ans is designed for extereme hill climbing on ash and shingle.

I'm shocked that my owner's manual recommends to drive through water "only if it is not deeper than 1 ft/30 cm"! I have to think a moment before going into water a foot deep in my AWD SUV. No way would I go into water that deep in the Zed! It would be close to floating in water that deep! And the intake can't be more than a few inches higher than that?

Excuse me while I check that I didn't get an X5 manual by mistake.

carol you are very very lucky the last load of rain we had my lad had 7 none runners in his bm dealership because of high water and it cost them all afortune as bm dont cover the new engines required because of driving thro floods
